CLIENT AND DESCRIPTION
THE GOAL: Decommoditization Through Visual Communication.
In the Beauty industry, value perception often precedes the user experience. The challenge for this project was to operate a true transformation of the perceived value. The product, positioned in the consumer market segment, required a visual presence capable of competing with luxury players.
The goal of Neoz Images & Visuals was clear: to eliminate the “affordable” perception of the packaging and focus attention on the chromatic richness and the sensory appeal of the powders.
CREATIVE DIRECTION: Composed Dynamism and Immersive Perspectives.
For the main images (hero shots), we chose a bold stylistic approach, using wide-angle lenses at close range. This choice is not purely aesthetic:
- Immersivity: The converging lines and emphasized perspectives project the observer into the scene, creating a sense of physical presence and tactile desire.
- Composed Dynamism: We sought a balance between the energy of the leading lines and the formal cleanliness that defines our visual language.
- Lighting Control: Every gradient and reflection was designed to sculpt volumes and guide the eye towards the product’s strengths, ensuring three-dimensionality without ever distorting the palette’s chromatic identity.
TECHNOLOGICAL CRAFTSMANSHIP: Deconstruction and Textures.
To convey the quality of the formula, we literally “dissected” the product. Creating the sets for the macro shots required an almost surgical approach:
- Manual Extraction: Each aluminum pan was removed from the original palette using heat and manual precision to be repositioned into an original geometric composition.
- Focus on Matter: We broke and fragmented the pigments to reveal their material structure: from the compactness of matte powders to the multi-dimensional brilliance of shimmers. These visual productions transform an inanimate object into a tangible sensory experience.
POST-PRODUCTION ENGINEERING: Perfection Beyond Reality.
When the goal is premium positioning, detail is everything. To overcome the structural limits of packaging and the laws of optical physics, we applied advanced Visual Engineering processes:
- Focus Stacking: The perspective image of the large palette (on the cover) with the pans reflected in the lid is the result of merging multiple captures at different focal planes. By using industry-leading software to automate the processes, we ensured absolute sharpness across the entire extent of the product—essential for reading details at close-range distances.
- Digital Refinement: Through meticulous post-production, we optimized the rendering of reflections in the lid and perfected the edges of each individual pan, eliminating industrial imperfections in the plastic and aluminum. The result is a visual asset that presents an idealized and greatly perfected, yet honest, version of the product.

In the beauty market, visual communication represents an implicit promise of performance conveyed by a captivating image. Meticulous creative direction has the task of translating matter into emotion, suggesting not only the formula’s effectiveness but the entire sensory pleasure linked to the ritual of use.
It is a cognitive shortcut toward buyer trust.
