CLIENT AND DESCRIPTION
Can a product have multiple personalities, while being aesthetically perfect?
The light suggests so.
We often treat products as inanimate objects.
We just illuminate them.
But an icon like Shalimar is not just an object.
It is a character.
In this project, fully realized in our Zero-Commute studio, it is evident how Creative Direction can change the attire and the soul of the exact same subject.
Either radically, or by meticulously refining the details.
👑 THE PRINCESS AMONG THE FLOWERS (2 versions): Here we are among the flowers. Fresh, real! In the first version, the light is brilliant, the Shalimar lettering shines, the bottle remains transparent, and the roses behind it reflect elegantly inside.
It is youth, it is freshness.
In the other version: working by subtraction; we seek intimacy, the “embrace”, with darker lettering and the internal liquid appearing with a more milky tone.
Same set, atmosphere subtly modified by two visual “nuances”.
🌊 THE NOBLEWOMAN AMONG THE WAVES – “COMPOSED” DYNAMISM: In the third image (and on the cover) we change element. Water.
Here we are not looking for delicacy, but for “carnality” and composed dynamism.
The product becomes statuesque, dominates the waves, and demands the observer’s attention; it sits enthroned at the center of the scene, leaving space on the sides for moving water, contrasting lights, and shadows.
With so much “negative” space, the image is very versatile, as shown by the alternative 3:4 and square crops added below in the gallery, after the original image.
My work at Neoz Images & Visuals is precisely this: not just creating images, but defining the intention and using the most suitable voice for the narrative.
The story creates the icons by dressing them up like princesses.
The images are an important part of that attire.
