CLIENT AND DESCRIPTION
Luxury is a matter of surgical precision. And conscious minimalism.
Minimalism is often confused with simplicity of execution.
In reality, cleaning the scene is much harder than filling it with dozens of “props” with the aim of astonishing.
In this work on Lattafa Perfumes’ Badee Al Oud Amethyst fragrance, the goal was to convey a sense of intangible luxury while, at the same time, showing the product with absolute definition. Making the most of the contrast and the two different materials of the bottle.
How did I unite these two opposing needs? With precise creative direction and a rigorous technical solution.
The Atmosphere (Styling): I used silk organza to create soft, enveloping waves. The fabric is not just a background; it is a visual code that communicates preciousness and elegance at first glance.
The Light (Light Shaping): I worked with a single, very soft light. The real challenge was the surgical positioning of the bottle and the cap relative to the strong light source, to correctly manage two complex materials: the matt finish of the body and the gold details.
The Technique (Focus Stacking): in macro photography, physics imposes limits on depth of field. To achieve absolute sharpness across the entire packaging, while still maintaining the softness of the silk, a single image would not have been enough. I created 15 different images, varying the focus point millimeter by millimeter, and merged them using Helicon Focus.
Below you can find the technical analysis in PDF and the two resulting images.
The result is not just a “beautiful image.”
It is a visual marketing asset that elevates brand perception, ensuring the visual quality is exceptional.
Because today a brand does not just need photographs, but well-designed visual solutions in creative direction that effectively support the sales processes.
